Because you only live twice, Aston Martin has partnered with US builder G&G Developers to create a 66-storey block of flats in the Florida city.
It is Aston Martin’s first real-estate project and is sited on one of the last parcels of developable land on the Downtown Miami waterfront.
The sail-shaped building is designed by Revuelta Architecture and Bodas Miani Anger with the interior and amenity spaces penned by Aston Martin’s design team led by chief creative officer, Marek Reichman.
Now under development, the tower is not exactly for your eyes only, with 391 apartments from one to four bedrooms, most having a view to kill for across the the Biscayne Bay and Atlantic Ocean.
Residents will have direct access to the beachfront via an exclusive yacht marina.
If the world is not enough, the tower will also have eight penthouses, each with its own pool and private terrace.
Floors 52 through 55 will feature a delightful range of amenities to ensure that residents need never say never again about ever leaving the apartment.
These floors have a double-level fitness centre overlooking the ocean, a spin studio, boxing gym, virtual golf room, art gallery, two cinemas, full-service spa, beauty centre, and hairdresser.
Aston Martin said it will have ‘key design elements’ in the construction, including carbon-fibre reception desks, leather fobs for the apartment keys and “bespoke artisan Aston Martin door handles” – which have yet to be explained, though if it is 007-themed, could possibly scare the living daylights out of tenants.
Prices for the apartments, which range from 65 square metres to 1765 sq.m, are planned to sell for about $A765,000 ($US566,000) right up to $A64 million ($US47.3m). The building is expected to be completed by 2021.
