AUDI Australia has announced its 41st national dealership with Alto Group to go ahead with building a state-of-the-art showroom near Narellan in Sydney’s west.

Alto Group was appointed by Audi Australia last week for the dealership to be named Audi Alto MacArthur. It will be the fourth Audi outlet for the Alto Group.

Alto managing director Anthony Altomonte said the location was in the rapidly growing south-western corridor of Sydney. It will be located at the corner of Anderson Road and Camden Valley Way in Smeaton Grange, near Narellan.

“This fourth location will provide even more opportunities for our business and for the local community, including around 60 new jobs,” Mr Altomonte said.

“At around $18 million, it’s a large investment, however we are confident the south western corridor of Sydney has great potential for the brand.”

The Alto Group owns three successful Audi facilities in Sydney’s Artarmon and Pennant Hills, and on the Central Coast.

The dealership is to be built on a 18,000 square metre greenfields site purchased by Alto Group. It will have a 20-bay workshop, a 15-bay panel shop with two ovens, a used car display for 100 Audi-approved vehicles, and a 23-car showroom.

The building, designed by SWD Architects, will also offer a community facility for use by local sporting, business and charity groups.

Audi Australia said the addition of a dealership in the Macarthur PMA was part of its long-term strategy to ensure the brand is being represented across the country in light of a new product range being rolled out over the coming years.

Following the final approval of plans, construction is expected to start around November 2017 and is due for completion one year later.
