AUSTRALIAN automotive public relations executive Chris Jordan has been appointed to the judging panel for the 2026 Agency of the Year Middle East awards run by regional industry publication Campaign Middle East. 

Mr Jordan has been Porsche Middle East and Africa head of public relations since December 2022, before which he spent almost five years as head of public relations for Porsche Cars Australia.

Asked by Campaign Middle East what made a winning entry, Mr Jordan said: “A creative idea that truly solved a business problem or achieved a crucial objective. Campaigns purely designed to win awards are useless.”   

Writing on LinkedIn, he thanked Campaign Middle East for the invitation to join the panel. 

Now in its fifth year, the Agency of The Year Middle East program judges agencies across creative, digital, media, public relations, production, integrated and social media disciplines. 

Campaign Middle East said the 2026 awards focused on business performance, including year-on-year growth, financial results, agency culture and diversity. 

Mr Jordan joins a jury that includes Adobe partner marketing director for the Middle East and Africa Hussein Dajani, GEMS Education global chief marketing officer Suad Merchant and Coca-Cola senior marketing director Butool Rizvi. 

He joined Porsche Cars Australia in October 2017 from Infiniti’s Hong Kong headquarters, where he was global product and brand communications manager. Before that he was a corporate communications executive at Nissan Australia. 

Porsche Middle East and Africa FZE is a wholly owned subsidiary of Porsche AG and covers 16 markets from its base in Dubai Silicon Oasis. 

It delivered 9628 new vehicles across the Middle East, Africa, Levant and India in 2025, its best annual result in 12 years and up one per cent on 2024.
