AUTOMOTIVE stalwart and former MTA SA/NT chair Frank Agostino has been honoured at a gala dinner and presented with the MTA SA/NT’s inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award.
The award was presented by South Australian premier Peter Malinauskas, who spoke about Mr Agostino’s contribution to the automotive industry in South Australia.
Mr Malinauskas also spoke of Mr Agostino’s integrity, honesty and humility which made him incredibly well-respected in the wider South Australian business community.
The current chair of the Motor Trade Association of Australia, Mr Agostino was chair of the MTA SA/NT between 2014 and 2024 and previously was president between 2005 and 2008.
He has owned many dealerships throughout South Australia and operated the AM/PM chain of BP service stations in metro and regional South Australia.
