BRIDGESTONE Australia has announced the winners of its ‘MasterClass’ dealer incentive program, with Bridgestone Select Enoggera in Brisbane taking out top honours as the 2018 National Franchise of the Year.

Run by Damien Meneguzzo and Martin Habershon, the Enoggera store was also named Queensland’s best-performing store.

Top prize: Damien and Emily Meneguzzo were presented with a Toyota HiLux as part of Bridgestone Select Enoggera’s 2018 National Franchise of the Year award.

Other state/territory award winners included Bridgestone Select outlets in Tuggerah on NSW’s central coast (run by Ashley McDougall), Kidman Park in Adelaide (Andrew Andrawos), Doreen in Melbourne (Mark Hosking) and Canning Vale in Perth (Russell Mead).

As with similar programs run by car companies, Bridgestone’s MasterClass scheme assesses stores over a 12-month period across a range of business areas, including customer service and sales.

Stores that score more than 95 per cent across the criteria become part of what Bridgestone calls the Chairman’s Club, and this year nine stores met the requirement.

Awards were also presented to the top-performing Bridgestone Service Centre regional stores, including Bacchus Marsh in Victoria (Mark Barnett), Fyshwick in the ACT (Craig White), Chinchilla in Queensland (Ross Rinehart), Port Hedland in WA (James Hagan) and Mount Gambier in South Australia (Alf Bamford, Dave Barry and Terry Gilchrist).

The service centre in Bendigo North in Victoria, run by Kevin Fitt and Garry Marwood, was named Commercial Business Retail Dealer of the Year.
