AUSTRALIAN car subscription company Loopit Group has appointed Ms Sim Tuzun as finance director responsible for leading the group’s financial operations across both its software arm, Loopit, and its consumer subscription arm, HelloCars, from the company’s Sydney headquarters.

Loopit has seen rapid growth since launching in early 2019, with the business announcing plans for global expansion in August. The new finance director role has been created to continue building on that success, as the group prepares for its first investment round.

The funding will be leveraged to fuel the company’s expansion both here in Australia and in key overseas markets including the United Kingdom, New Zealand and the Middle East.

Ms Tuzun has more than 20 years of experience in the finance industry in Australia and overseas. She has developed professional finance experience across a wide range of companies, from fast-growing start-ups to multi-national ASX-listed entities across information technologies, digital marketing and biotechnology industries.

She was previously group financial controller of The iQ Group and previously, the group financial controller of Impelus.

Ms Tuzun has a strong background in capital raising and has been involved in several successful funding rounds over her career. In the new position at Loopit, she will lead the finance team with a focus on preparing the company for its upcoming funding raise.
