CAR loan and ownership platform CarClarity has appointed former Gumtree and Autotrader executive Richard Dicello as general manager of dealerships.

Mr Dicello was the dealer sales director for Gumtree and Autotrader and before that, was with BMW Group Finance for nine years.

CarClarity said that Mr Dicello’s experience in these previous positions made him instrumental in growing and transforming the online car buying and financing options for millions of Australians.

Mr Dicello’s appointment follows CarClarity announcing an increase in revenue by 800 per cent in 2021 and expansion of the CarClarity team to 33 employees.

CarClarity’s platform was the first of its kind to launch in Australia in March 2020, connecting car buyers with more than 30 different finance lenders for loan comparison, application, approval and car buying services.
