COX Automotive Australia and New Zealand has appointed Shakira Loveridge to a newly created role as head of enterprise sales.

She will provide strategic sales leadership and have direct responsibility for the acquisition and management of enterprise customers including fleet and rental divisions.

Cox said Ms Loveridge will work closely with enterprise customers to provide a comprehensive and connected range of solutions for their automotive retail or wholesale related service needs.

“Shakira is passionate about creating value and exceptional customer experiences for our customers,” Cox Automotive said in a statement.

“She brings a wealth of experience across physical and digital retail, wholesale, and corporate automotive markets, and is focused on using data, analytics and process transformation to help our customers unlock future growth opportunities.”

Ms Loveridge was previously group operations executive of sales at Automotive Holdings Group (AHG) before becoming a trusted advisor with various global organisations in London and New York that specialise in connecting businesses with industry.

She used her knowledge of best practice and process in various industries, with a continued focus on automotive.

Cox said Ms Loveridge has since gained extensive expertise providing boutique advisory and consultation on business transformation, acquisitions and mergers, B2B2C, risk mitigation and business operation strategies for automotive OEMs, dealer groups and networks.

Most recently, she provided advisory services to digital disruptors and global consulting and advisory firms.

Cox Automotive chief customer officer Kirzsten Pountney said: “Shakira’s appointment is an integral step in our strategic plan to focus on providing a streamlined customer experience across Cox Automotive’s comprehensive set of products and services.”
