She was previously with Hertz for 14 years, most recently as fleet acquisition and procurement manager.

Ms Coventry started with Hertz as a fleet accountant, following her position as senior accountant with Craig Allen Accountants and Advisors.

Europcar Mobility Group is a French-listed global business that offers alternatives to vehicle ownership, with a mandate of responsible and sustainable business practices.

It offers a wide range of car and van rental services and is planning for its fleet to include more than one-third of EV and hybrid vehicles for rent by 2023.

The group’s four major brands are: Europcar – the European leader of car rental and light commercial vehicle rental, Goldcar – the low-cost car-rental leader in Europe, InterRent – for ‘mid-tier’ car rental and Ubeeqo – one of the European leaders of round-trip car-sharing.

It delivers its mobility solutions worldwide through an extensive network in more than 140 countries, including wholly owned subsidiaries of which there are 18 in Europe, one in the US, and two in Australia and New Zealand.

Europcar is currently the subject of a takeover from a consortium led by Volkswagen Group.
