INCHCAPE Australasia has appointed Andrew Sinclair as general manager of its new Inchcape Financial Services division.

Mr Sinclair most recently was managing director of Fleet Matters for eight years, and before that, executive director of fleet leasing and automotive finance business autoFocus.

He has also worked with Inchcape in the past, leading Subaru’s fleet and corporate sales, financial services and more recently providing specialist fleet sales support and training.

Inchcape’s new finance business, which was first mooted in January, has been launched with partner Allied Credit to deliver financial services solutions to Inchcape’s Subaru and Peugeot-Citroen customers, retail businesses and networks in Australia.

The company previously used Macquarie Bank for finance services. The branded Subaru Financial Services will start on October 1 while the Peugeot and Citroen Financial Services will be launched on January 21, 2022.

Inchcape said the dedicated finance company would focus on providing its dealer networks and customers with flexibility, confidence and convenience.
