AUSTRALIAN EV manufacturer AUSEV has partnered with subscription provider Karmo to offer AUSEV’s Ford F-150 Lightning ute to fleet customers.

The CEO of Bosscap Group, parent company of AUSEV, Edward Kocwa said Karmo’s model allows customers to swap vehicles as their needs change, with no long-term commitments which was “a major shift away from traditional ownership.”

“It also eliminates concerns about residual value or balloon payments, offering a simpler, more predictable way to access a vehicle,” he said.“With the inclusion of AUSEV’s electric F-150 Lightnings into Karmo’s fleet, customers can now experience powerful, zero-emission transport in a format that suits their lifestyle and budget.”

Karmo sales director Craig Corrigan said: “We’re excited to work with a company like AUSEV that shares our values and commitment to Australian innovation.

“Our customers are increasingly asking for sustainable options, and this partnership allows us to deliver that with local support and confidence in a product built for Australian  conditions.”

Mr Corrigan said that offering a locally-manufactured EV ute strengthened Karmo’s credentials “in having the flexibility to offer a vehicle for all customer requirements.”

“This collaboration represents a powerful example of how homegrown businesses can work together to deliver innovative solutions that benefit consumers, the environment, and the broader economy,” he said.

Mr Kocwa said that the partnership marked a major step in accelerating access to EVs through flexible, subscription-based models.

“It makes driving more affordable, flexible and accessible while resonating strongly with AUSEV’s vision of making clean, high-performance EVs available to everyday Australians,” he said.

“Karmo’s car subscription model is revolutionising the way Australians think about vehicle access,” he said.

“Combining that with locally manufactured F-150 Lightnings built by AUSEV means customers now get the best of both worlds: flexibility with high performance, without the  environmental cost.

“We understand that the market will continue to evolve and, through this joint partnership, we’re well positioned to adapt and deliver the modifications Australians need.

“Together, we’re not just making EVs more accessible, we’re strengthening sovereign manufacturing and creating new value in Australia’s automotive landscape.”

AUSEV, based in Queensland, operates world-class facilities equipped with advanced R&D capabilities, vehicle production lines and charging technology development.

The company  provides end-to-end EV solutions, from design and prototyping to full-scale  production and fleet integration.

Karmo Rentals is Australia’s biggest car subscription provider,  offering a flexible, affordable, and hassle-free alternative to traditional vehicle  ownership.

Karmo’s subscription model includes registration, insurance, servicing, and roadside assistance in one transparent weekly payment.

With a growing national presence and a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction, Karmo said it is leading the shift toward “access, not ownership” in the Australian automotive market.
