NEW EV entrant Leapmotor has announced nine national Australian dealers ahead of the launch next week of its C10 SUV, and in New Zealand, Auto Distributors.

In Australia its network has opened in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth and Canberra, with selected dealers already holding Stellantis franchises. Stellantis is a major partner of Leapmotor.

Auto Distributors New Zealand, based in Auckland, adds Leapmotor to its list of Peugeot, Citroen and Opel brands.Leapmotor dealerships are:

Leapmotor said it is planning to expand its network in 2025 to support more models expected to arrive next year, including the smaller B10 SUV.

The dealer network, made up of Stellantis family dealers – Jeep, Alfa Romeo and Fiat – is what Leapmotor said was to ensure “seamless access to Leapmotor’s innovative products and services, providing support and convenience for customers.”

“The launch of the dealer network reinforces Leapmotor and Stellantis’ joint mission to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles and create a more sustainable future,” the company said.

“Each dealership will have certified technicians specialising in Leapmotor’s electric vehicle technology.

“This will ensure that customers receive expert maintenance and repair services, maximising the performance and longevity of their vehicles.“With a presence in major metropolitan areas, Leapmotor’s dealer network will be a one-stop destination for sales, service, and support for the Leapmotor C10 and future models.”The brand has kicked off with its sole model, the C10, with an introductory price including drive-away costs starting at $47,500. It comes with a seven-year, 160,000km vehicle warranty and an eight-year, 160,000km high-voltage battery warranty. 

Leapmotor has added some incentive, with customers who register their interest at leapmotor.com/au by November 30, 2024 having the chance to win a Leapmotor C10 for a month.

In addition, all Leapmotor C10s ordered and delivered before March 31, 2025, receive one year of free charging via the Chargefox network.
