PENSKE Australia has launched an online truck marketplace to display the new and used MAN and Western Star trucks and buses for sale at its company-owned and independent dealerships.

The one-stop site promises an easy search mechanism and allows customers to simply and quickly direct inquiries to the dealers.

The online marketplace for Penske’s outlets has been delivered with the help of trucksales.com.au, operated by Carsales.

Penske Australia general manager of marketing Kim Ruddock said the partnership allowed the company to build a truck marketplace “that would rival any online marketplace.”

“For years the automotive industry has utilised centralised online marketplaces that deliver superior user experiences and ideal outcomes for customers and dealers,” she said.

“And that was our goal – to give customers a centralised marketplace while facilitating a single online presence where our dealer network could display their stock.”

Ms Ruddock said trucksales.com.au had a unique audience of more than 200,000 a month which allowed Penske to place products in front of customers at a place they were already visiting.
