The official signing of an agreement between McLaren and the Peter Warren Group has led to the opening of a new outlet in Nerang on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

The showroom, to be known as Sunshine McLaren, adjoins other Sunshine Automotive franchises including Rolls-Royce and Aston Martin.

McLaren has representation at Zagame Automotive (previously Inchcape) in Melbourne and Trivett in Sydney.

The Peter Warren Group has 17 brands sold through four locations in NSW and three in Queensland. The brands include Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar.

Queensland has also been chosen as the latest site for a Lamborghini dealership.

Lamborghini has officially opened its fourth dealership in Australia. The Willims Motor Group will operate as a Lamborghini dealer from premises in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.

It represents deja vu for dealer principal Greg Willims who originally represented Lamborghini from 2003 before moving to become a Ferrari dealer until 2014.

In 2014 Ferrari appointed the Sime Darby and LMM Holdings-owned business – operated by Martin Roller and Marvin Burke – as its Queensland representative.

A specialist Ferrari showroom was opened two months ago in the Brisbane suburb of Newstead.
