MMAL said Ms McKenzie brings an outstanding track record in senior management roles across a diverse and broad range of industries including mining, energy, logistics and education.
She was previously CFO for TAFE South Australia and before that, finance manager for Agriquip Machinery in NSW.
Mr Westcott said: “We are delighted to welcome Beth to the MMAL Management Committee. Her wealth of financial and general business experience will further support MMAL through global market complexity and high Australian demand.”
MMAL now has women in its two top finance jobs for the first time. MMAL’s general manager of financial control is Bethany Denton.
