FOTON Australia has opened its first commercial vehicle centre in Penrith to showcase the brand’s products and launch pad for the future.

Inchcape Foton Penrith, already an established Foton dealership, has been refurbished to incorporate the brand’s latest corporate identity.

The flagship site displays Foton’s commercial vehicle range, including light-commercial vehicles and light-duty trucks, in a contemporary environment designed for a consistent customer experience in sales and aftersales.

Distributors and retailer Inchcape Australasia said that the Penrith centre was a physical expression of where Inchcape and Foton are taking the brand in Australia. 

“It provides customers with a dedicated destination to experience Foton’s products, people and aftersales capability, while establishing a benchmark for the brand’s future retail presence,” said Inchcape.

At the official opening of the new-look dealership this week, Inchcape Australasia managing director Blair Read said the brand was strengthening its presence in Australia through an expanding product portfolio, growing dealer network and continued investment in customer and aftersales experience.

He said that the new Penrith centre “gives customers a place to experience Foton’s products and technology, while providing the people and aftersales support they need throughout their ownership journey”.

“It also sets the standard for how we want Foton represented as the network continues to grow,” he added.

Foton Australia, part of the Inchcape Australasia group, was appointed the distributor for Foton vehicles in the Australian market in 2024.
