PACCAR Financial Australia has appointed Peter Gavaller as its new managing director. He has more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector and seven years at Paccar. In a statement, Paccar described Mr Gavaller as “well-equipped to lead the team into the future”.

“Throughout his career, Peter has held several key positions, including national finance sales manager and most recently, managing director of DAF Trucks Hungary and a Paccar-owned dealership,” the company said.

“His extensive experience in financial services and automotive industries uniquely positions him to oversee Paccar Financial Australia and PacLease Australia.”

Mr Gavaller succeeds Roland Hollingsworth, who retired earlier this year.

“The team at Paccar extends its gratitude to Roland for his leadership and contributions during his tenure,” said the Paccar statement.

Mr Gavaller said he was enthusiastic about his new opportunity and “truly honoured to step into the role of managing director at Paccar Financial Australia”.
