Peugeot Citroen Australia (PCA) has appointed Kerri Thalji as assistant brand and sponsorships manager, effective immediately.

Ms Thalji joins the PCA brand with an extensive marketing background. She has spent the past 11 years within the Inchcape group at Subaru, the latest role as assistant brand and sponsorships manager for Subaru.

Ms Thalji has held a variety of positions including customer-facing roles within retail before being appointed digital marketing coordinator for Subaru and progressing into brand marketing executive. She has also held responsibility for content and social media.

She said that the new role “extends my love for brand marketing to another brand(s) within the Inchcape Group”.

“I started as a weekend ‘concierge’ at Denlo Subaru in Parramatta at just 17,” she said in her profile.

“After completing my degree, I gained a role at Subaru Australia as digital marketing coordinator.

“Nearly seven years on and I have been lucky enough to touch almost all aspects of marketing for a brand that is very close to my heart – everything from digital to content, social media and sponsorships.”

She said that some of her favourite brand campaigns and model launches include the rebranding of Subaru “do”, coordinating many global shoots with the Subaru Japan team and even working on set for TVCs with her best experience being shooting the Subaru Impreza “101 ways to do life better” campaign in a dark tunnel in Milson’s Point until 5am in 2017.

“Here’s to a new brand, a new challenge and another 11 years at Inchcape!”
