Penske trucks expands

PENSKE Commercial Vehicles (PCV) has added two more locations to its network, bringing its truck dealerships around the country to 25.

It appointed Dwyers Truck Centre – which has outlets in Wollongong and Nowra in NSW – that will sell, service and supply parts for PCV’s Western Star, MAN and Dennis Eagle brands.

Penske Commercial Vehicles managing director Kevin Dennis said Dwyers had a great reputation in the region.

“Our focus is always on providing our customers with the best possible service experience and one key way we deliver this is to continue to make the most of expansion opportunities when they present themselves,” he said in a statement.

“Dwyers dealer principal, Colin Crook, is very passionate about both great customer service and also the South Coast region.

“All the way throughout the Dwyers organisation, the team is committed to serving their customer base.”

Dwyers Truck Centre dealer principal and owner Colin Crook, who bought the company four years ago after serving as managing director for 10 years prior to that, said his dealerships had doubled sales over the past five years and now sells more than 330 vehicles a year.

“It was clear that Penske Commercial Vehicles was the best fit both for us as an organisation, and for where we are taking our dealership,” he said.
