FORD Australia and New Zealand has appointed Christina Twelftree as communications director effective October 1.

She succeeds Matt Moran who has become the head of product communications for Ford’s International Markets Group covering ASEAN, ANZ, the Middle East and Africa), and ASEAN communications director, based in Bangkok.

Ford said Ms Twelftree brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the Australia and New Zealand communications team.

“Originally from Adelaide, she first joined Ford in Shanghai in 2016 as part of the Brand Communications team,” Ford said.

“In late 2018, she moved to the US where she took on multiple responsibilities, including leading communications around the iconic Michigan Central Station project.

“For the past few years, Christina has been an integral part of the CEO Communications and Investor Relations teams. Prior to joining Ford, she held key roles at Alibaba in China and Ogilvy.

“In her new role, Christina will be responsible for all aspects for communications across Australia and New Zealand.”
