Purnell JLR scores twice at national awards

JLR Australia (JLRA) has announced Purnell Jaguar Land Rover in Blakehurst NSW as the winner of its top National Retailer of the Year Award as well as Metropolitan Retailer of the Year honours for 2022/2023.

The Australian arm of JLR congratulated Purnell for taking the company’s “most prestigious award” for the fifth time in six years, describing the win as “an outstanding effort by the team”.

Purnell JLR dealer principal, Rodney Dale, said he and his colleagues were “honoured to be named Retailer of the Year for the fifth time in six years”.

“This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, who are committed to providing our customers with the best possible experience.”

General manager of Purnell JLR, Aaron Gabriel said the dealership had “a long history of excellence in customer service”.

“We are proud to be recognised by JLRA for our commitment to providing our customers with a modern luxury experience.”

Purnell JLR has been in business for more than 50 years and, as its bulging trophy cabinet attests, is known for its high level of customer service.

“Competition for this award is always fierce,” said Mr Dale. “We are grateful to JLRA for recognising our team’s efforts.”

Port Macquarie JLR has been awarded the 2022-2023 Regional Retailer of the Year

Hotly contested within the JLR dealer network, the annual awards recognise dealers which demonstrate the desired attributes of “leadership, client-centricity and innovation through a modern and refined client experience.”

Winners are assessed nationally and at metropolitan, provincial and regional levels.

Other JLR dealers acknowledged at the awards include Rex Gorell JLR in Geelong, Victoria, which was named the 2022/2023 Provincial Retailer of the Year – the second time in five years it has won this gong.

Rounding out the awards was Port Macquarie JLR that claimed the 2022/2023 Regional Retailer of the Year in what is a back-to-back win for the NSW mid-North Coast dealer, as well as the fourth time in five years it has been deemed to excel in all aspects of the business.
