AUTOMOTIVE software provider AlgoDriven has launched what is claimed to be an Australia-first ChatGPT and Claude integration for dealers that allows dealers direct conversational AI access to their operational data.
The integrations give users secure access to data from EvalExpert, AlgoDriven’s appraisal platform, and DriveExpert, its test drive and loan car platform.
It allows dealers to securely analyse appraisal, test drive and loan-car data and create new vehicle evaluations, using AI.
Importantly, it means dealers have full ownership of their data.
AlgoDriven co-founder Jaron Crossland said the real opportunity is not simply using AI to write an email.
“It is securely connecting AI with trusted automotive data and real dealership workflows so it can help users understand what is happening, explain why and assist with the next action,” he said.
Dealers can use natural-language prompts to generate reports, conduct detailed trend analysis, examine appraisal performance, analyse test drive conversion and loan car utilisation, and assess large fleets or batches of vehicles.
The technology can also create new vehicle evaluations from information contained in customer emails, enquiry details and uploaded screenshots, reducing manual data entry and helping dealerships respond more quickly.
Mr Crossland said the launch would fundamentally change how dealerships access and use their own data.
“Dealers hold an enormous amount of valuable information across appraisals, test drives, loan cars and customer interactions, but extracting a specific insight has traditionally required predefined reports, spreadsheets or technical resources,” Mr Crossland said.
“Dealers can now have a conversation with their data. They can ask what is changing in their appraisal funnel, identify marketing or acquisition trends, analyse an entire fleet or create an evaluation directly from a customer email or screenshot.
“We believe this is the first time an Australian automotive software provider has offered this level of access through ChatGPT, Claude and MCP.”
The launch reflects AlgoDriven’s long-standing product leadership and developer-first approach.
The company has consistently invested in APIs, integrations and developer tools that allow dealer groups, manufacturers and technology providers to connect AlgoDriven functionality with their existing systems.
The launch comprises a ChatGPT connector, Claude connector and Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. AlgoDriven holds SOC 2 Type II attestation and ISO 27001 certification across its product suite.
The new MCP server extends this strategy by providing a standardised and controlled way for supported AI platforms to interact with authorised dealership data and workflows.
The connectors form part of AlgoDriven’s wider automotive AI strategy, which also includes:
- Pricing AI with reasoning, providing explainable vehicle pricing recommendations
- Damage AI, identifying vehicle damage and estimating reconditioning costs
- Carlie, an AI virtual salesperson that handles incoming internet leads and progresses customers towards appointments and appraisals
AlgoDriven said the technology has been developed around a clear principle: the dealer owns its data.
“Our role is to securely facilitate access to the dealer’s own information and make that data more useful,” Mr Crossland said.
“Data security, user permissions and data isolation are fundamental to the way these integrations operate.”
The announcement is one of AlgoDriven’s first major product releases since its acquisition earlier this year by Emergence Software, part of The Pritzker Organization.
The acquisition is supporting further investment in product development, artificial intelligence and international expansion.
AlgoDriven said that the ChatGPT connector, Claude connector and MCP server are available to all AlgoDriven customers.
The Claude connector is approved and listed in the Claude connector directory, while the ChatGPT connector can be added manually using the setup guide on AlgoDriven’s website, ahead of its listing in the ChatGPT directory.
