DIGICALL Assist has appointed Duncan Hardie in the new role of COO at a time when the outsourced assistance services company has experienced major growth.

Mr Hardie was previously with International SOS Group companies for 11 years, including the past seven years as regional general manager for the Middle East, Africa, India and Turkey.

Digicall said Mr Hardie has developed international markets and created new services, especially in the concierge and lifestyle services space, driving strong business outcomes.

“Duncan brings deep experience and exceptional expertise across all aspects of client management, business development and operations, both in Australia and internationally,” Digicall said in a statement.

“As COO, Duncan is responsible for ensuring a continued strong focus on client and provider relationships, together with business development across Australia and New Zealand.”

Digicall Assist CEO Michael Curtin said: “I’m thrilled Duncan is joining Digicall Assist.

“He was part of our business when we were part of International SOS prior to May 2014 – he knows us, our team, our services and our clients.

“His appointment comes at a time of huge growth and opportunity for Digicall Assist. Duncan’s impeccable credentials and leadership experience strengthen our capability, as we drive ground-breaking customer experience outcomes for our clients.”

Mr Hardie said: “Digital transformation, coupled with an overall enhanced customer experience continues to accelerate across all industries, and the assistance services sector is no exception.

“I’m very excited to join the Digicall Assist team as we help create the future for this important market in Australia and New Zealand.”

Mr Hardie’s appointment is one of several new roles at Digicall Assist, including an additional four team leader roles in the contact centre, a new customer experience manager and a new role in the finance team.
