New role: Former BMW Australia press fleet co-ordinator Isabelle Laming will start at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Australia next week as corporate communications co-ordinator.

FIAT Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Australia has made a fresh round of changes to its public relations team, hiring former BMW Group Australia press fleet co-ordinator Isabelle Laming as its new corporate communications co-ordinator after recently promoting Alessia Terranova to senior manager of corporate communications.

The latest moves come as events and communications manager Sarah Williams returned to Auckland earlier this month to become Alfa Romeo New Zealand’s new brand activation manager, effective October 1.

Ms Williams worked at FCA Australia for just over three-and-a-half years, starting as network development project manager before taking on the role of corporate communications executive in April 2017.

She subsequently rose to events and communications manager in December last year.

Ms Terranova’s promotion to senior manager follows a two-year stint as public relations and communications manager with the company. She had earlier served for a brief period as corporate communications co-ordinator.

As reported, FCA Australia’s former senior manager of corporate comms Dave Harding left the company in June.

Ms Laming, who starts with FCA on September 24, spent almost 18 months at BMW Group Australia as press fleet co-ordinator.

She was previously with Porsche Cars Australia for a year, working as a public relations graduate.

Both Ms Laming and Ms Terranova report to FCA Australia corporate communications director Tracie Stoltenburg.
