Growing up watching movies such as The Fast and the Furious and playing video games like Need for Speed and Gran Turismo, Tung Nguyen fell in love with all things automotive before coming to the realisation that he might just be able to turn this passion into a career.
Much to his parent’s disappointment, he opted to study journalism instead of medicine and somehow managed to graduate with a degree from Monash University.
Tung’s car knowledge was built upon weekends and evenings spent in the garage tinkering away on his first car, a 1996 Toyota Supra, before selling it and getting something more “sensible.”
After writing for various motoring publications, Tung joined the GoAuto team in 2014 and now his parents could not be more proud.
