THE Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) has announced the resignation of its public affairs director Lenore Fletcher, who has joined Motorsport Safety and Rescue (MSR) as director of operations.

FCAI chief executive Tony Weber said: “We would like to thank Lenore for her substantial contribution to the organisation over the past two years.

“Her work across communications, strategic planning and stakeholder relations, both internally and externally, has been an asset to the organisation.”

Ms Fletcher’s final day with the FCAI was on January 29, 2021.

Joining MSR from February 1, Ms Fletcher will be tasked with implementing protocols designed to enhance the efficiency and quality of service provided to clients while facilitating the growth of the company.

Last month the FCAI announced the appointment of two new senior executives – Matt Hobbs as director of policy and advocacy, and Peter Griffin as director of innovation and strategic engagement.

The FCAI has not named a replacement but said Mr Hobbs had extensive experience in automotive government relations and corporate affairs.
