GMANZ has opened its fourth combined Holden Certified and all-makes ACDelco Service Centre in Australia at the site of Peter Page Holden in Portside in South Australia.

It adds to an existing network of two centres in Victoria – Werribee and Vermont – and one in Maroochydore in Queensland. Three more – Fremantle and Midland in WA and Waipukurau in New Zealand – are planned to open this year.

GMANZ said that Portside’s state-of-the-art service facility reaffirms its commitment to Holden owners for ongoing Holden genuine parts, certified service and warranty work.

GMANZ aftersales director Paul Rietveld said: “The Portside Holden Certified and all-makes ACDelco Service Centre adds to the 200-plus facilities across Australia and New Zealand looking after the vehicle servicing needs of more than 1.6-million Holdens on the road today.”

“Now under one roof, trained technicians using quality Holden genuine and all-makes ACDelco parts are able to service the needs of not just Holden owners, but also the motoring needs of most vehicle owners in the Portside and wider area.”

Mr Rietveld said GMANZ expected growing demand for all-makes servicing as the average age of vehicles increased and they no longer are covered by brand-specific scheduled servicing agreements.

“ACDelco all-makes products have an excellent reputation for quality and affordability, so it’s logical that customers are demanding the use of ACDelco for their vehicle servicing requirements,” he said.

ACDelco opened its first store in Australia in Maroochydore in June 2021. It has added Werribee and Vermont and soon will have new sites at Fremantle and Midland.

Portside’s new Holden certified and all-makes ACDelco service centre is owned and operated by the Peter Page Automotive group.

Peter Page Holden was founded in 1971 and is a family business passionate about customer service and providing quality service to Holden owners and their vehicles.

The business is now run by the two Page brothers, Paul and Luke, in addition to their existing Holden service outlet at Elizabeth.

“Holden and the GM brand have had such a strong presence in the western side of Adelaide for almost 100 years,” said Luke Page.

“This is a fitting location for the new store as it’s just up the road from the original manufacturing site on Port Rd at Woodville (which opened in 1926), and is directly between the former Port Adelaide dealership premises.

“The people of this area have been brand loyal for so long, it’s important to us that we are able to look after their motoring needs and servicing requirements.”
