She joins Hyundai from her role as head of sales at digital used-car dealership Carma.

Previously, she was head of sales for Gumtree Australia where her role was to actively lead and manage sales, create strategies to enhance the team’s sales efficiency while being responsible for helping customer service and accounts receivable teams to achieve desired outcomes.

Prior to the Gumtree role, Ms de Vries was national sales director and then managing director of ANZ at Search Optics, responsible for executive leadership and budgeting.

She has also been head of dealer sales with Carsguide and spent more than seven years with the company in dealer sales roles.

Ms de Vries will work with Hyundai’s general manager of sales operations Justin Douglass.
