INCHCAPE Australia has appointed Dan Hawkins as its fleet and corporate manager, representing Subaru, Peugeot, Citroen, AutoNexus, Trivett and Bravoauto.

He will be responsible for developing strategic fleet and corporate initiatives across the Inchcape group of brands.

This includes generating sales of vehicles and related services and creating a competitive value proposition for current and future fleet customers.

Mr Hawkins, who is an accomplished national fleet sales and operations manager with experience in fostering customer-centric strategies, joins Inchcape from Lander Toyota where he was fleet sales manager for four and a half years.

At Lander Toyota in Blacktown, NSW, he was responsible for leading the team of certified Toyota fleet specialists.

Prior to that role, he was general manager of operations at Fleetcare and provided strategic leadership and direction to a diverse range of teams within the business including new business, account management, client services and purchasing and fleet disposal.

He has also been general manager of business sales at Hyundai Motor Company Australia, where he managed a national team of sales professionals to achieve corporate, government and rental fleet sales targets.
