COX Automotive is launching two new vehicle valuation products into Australia under the Kelley Blue Book label and integrating the service with its Dealer Solutions business.

Kelley Blue Book, which has been operating in North America for 90 years and is under the Cox Automotive umbrella, has announced that MarketLens and Pricing Service will be available to Australian clients.

The products are designed for OEMs, dealers and insurance and finance companies to obtain an accurate and comparative pricing guide for their vehicles, claims and financing options.

MarketLens, introduced in the US last year, lets users look up a valuation of a vehicle and identify it by VIN or by year/make/model and receive valuations from the Kelley Blue Book.

The Pricing Service program integrates the Kelley Blue Book catalogue with any website, mobile app or specialist platform to show new-car pricing and used-car pricing based on what others close by have paid for the same vehicle. It shows if you’re getting a good deal.

Kelley Blue Book’s head of sales, Ilias Stavropoulos, said the products are already receiving a lot of interest from insurance and finance companies.

“These are Kelley Blue Book key products and, as such, are receiving a lot of interest from insurance and finance companies,” he said.

“It allows them access to vehicle values that are consistent, reliable and predictive of current market conditions.

“The company brings unparalleled abilities for evaluating market data into one of the industry’s most reliable and relevant resources for the automotive industry, helping its users make valuations decisions with confidence.”

Dealer Solutions, Australia’s largest independent data aggregator and one of the leading developers of automotive websites, is now integrating Kelley Blue Book’s valuation data.

Cox Automotive Australia Retail Solutions CEO Michael Sommerton said the Kelley Blue Book products will give buyers and dealers access to reliable and accurate data.

“This is a terrific way to harness the power of a dealer’s website by getting accurate data with a trusted brand and driving more leads to dealers at a far cheaper cost-per-lead than listing on a classified site,” he said.

Kelley Blue Book has been a trusted name in the automotive industry since 1926. The brand falls under the Cox Automotive Australia Retail Solutions group.

The Australian expansion of services from Kelley Blue Book follows the introduction of MarketLens and Pricing Service products into Canada through Cox Auto Canada.
