A move by Eagers Automotive to regroup a string of franchises into two zones and begin greenfields development of a multi-franchise block alongside Perth’s busy northern rail line has opened up its Lynford Ford site for a new occupant.

Osborne Park Kia, operated by Tony Salerno’s Total Solution Automotive Group (TSAG), has confirmed it will occupy the Lynford site at 300 Scarborough Beach Road within about 18 months.

Osborne Park Kia dealer principal Darren Cobby told GoAutoNews Premium that the proposed new dealership site was an exciting opportunity to establish a flagship retail destination in one of Perth’s most prominent locations.

He said the property covers 27,000 square metres which gives potential for a second and possibly third franchise on a site that has excellent exposure to passing traffic on one of Perth’s busiest roads.

He said TSAG was open for expressions of interest in a second franchise – and possibly a third – to join the business alongside Kia.

Currently, TSAG shares its split property at 286 Scarborough Beach Road – just east of the Lynford site – with its LDV showroom.

“The proposed new dealership will showcase Kia’s commitment to innovation, design, and technology, and provide customers with an exceptional experience that reflects the brand’s reputation for quality and reliability,” TSAG said in a statement.

“With its prime location and high-visibility frontage, the new dealership will be a showcase for Kia’s latest vehicles and cutting-edge technology.”
