McCarrolls buys Brookvale Mazda

McCARROLL’S Automotive Group has expanded its business interests in Sydney’s Northern Beaches after this month buying Brookvale Mazda from long-time operator Joe Rinaldi.

It is the first Mazda franchise for the family-owned McCarrolls business, which started in Cooma in 1978 and now has 11 brands in its dealerships in Sydney and Newcastle.

McCarroll’s owner-operator Simon McCarroll said Mazda has been a part of the Northern Beaches community since the 1960s and “it’s wonderful to continue the tradition of the brand being represented by a family-owned business with strong ties to the local community.”

“The Brookvale Mazda team has done an excellent job working with the local community to promote Mazda’s exceptional range of products,” he said in a statement.

“We look forward to building on this strong foundation and growing Mazda’s presence on the Northern Beaches.”

McCarolls has appointed Sandro Guglielmi, currently general manager at its Lexus of Chatswood dealership, as dealer principal of Mazda Brookvale.

Mr Guglielmi said: “I think the key to McCarroll’s success is treating each of our customers as we would guests in our own home.”

“I can’t wait to create new connections with people on the beautiful Northern Beaches and to spend time nurturing those long-term relationships that keep me excited about coming into the office every day.”

Mazda Brookvale joins dealerships across NSW in the McCarroll’s Automotive Group family including Ferrari Sydney and Northshore, Maserati Sydney, McCarroll’s Maserati, Lexus of Chatswood, McCarroll’s Jeep Artarmon, McCarroll’s Alfa Romeo, McCarroll’s Fiat, McCarroll’s RAM Artarmon, McCarroll’s Volkswagen, McCarroll’s Jeep Newcastle, McCarroll’s RAM Newcastle, Lexus of Newcastle, Volvo Cars Newcastle, and Porsche Centre Newcastle.

Brookvale Mazda has a distinctive location on the corner of Pittwater and Carter Roads in Brookvale and a service centre on Taronga Place, Mona Vale.

The Mazda dealership has been a strong supporter of local charities, events and clubs in the Northern Beaches district including Autism Spectrum Australia, Life Education, Cerebral Palsy, Forestville Ferrets, Harbord United Devils, Beacon Hill Cricket Club and several Northern Beaches rugby league stars.
