Mr Meyer recently moved from KPMG’s Motor Industry Services division where he had been working for the last three years as an advisor providing operational and leadership training and business consulting services to dealerships, dealer groups and manufacturers.
Before he joined KPMG he had provided similar services for six years at Deloitte Motor Industry Services.
Mr Meyer’s 25-year career in the automotive industry has also seen him working in a variety of roles for manufacturers, including in business management, network development and used/remarketing positions at Toyota and Holden. He also spent four years at automotive retail group AP Eagers.
The new AdTorque Edge Advisory division will be working with dealerships and groups and will be reviewing and assessing business performance and developing strategies as well as training plans aimed at optimising operational efficiencies and achieving desired financial outcomes.
“In creating this advisory offering, I thought there was a real opportunity to bring a new player into the training and consulting market,” Mr Meyer said.
“Whether a dealer is looking to expand their business, develop their staff or improve their financial performance, we will be able to offer them cost-effective services, tailored to their specific needs.”
AdTorque Edge executive chairman John O’Neill said Mr Meyer’s knowledge and years of experience working with car, truck and motorcycle dealers made him the “perfect fit for our ever-growing team”.
“We are already working with over 800 dealerships as a trusted advisor in digital advertising and strategic marketing. The addition of Rohan to our team enables us to offer our clients a more holistic package that includes training and consulting to further support them through these extremely challenging times” Mr O’Neill said.
