NISSAN has appointed Emily Fadeyev as general manager of corporate communications for Nissan Oceania.

She replaces Karla Leach who has left the company after five years in that position and almost seven years with the communications department at Nissan.

Ms Fadeyev moves into the role after almost three years as senior manager of corporate communications at Nissan.

Prior to joining Nissan, she worked for Renault Australia for more than 10 years, most recently as corporate communications manager.

Region role: Emily Fadeyev is the new general manager of corporate communications for Nissan Oceania.

She also worked with Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific as events marketing coordinator and within the communications department.

Mrs Fadeyev said: “I’m thrilled! This incredible role works closely with Nissan’s highly talented global and regional communications teams. It makes me responsible for corporate communications across Australia and New Zealand.

“I want to extend a huge thank you to Adam Paterson and Katherine Zachary for trusting me to lead the corporate communications department.

“It is a remarkable time to be working at Nissan Motor Corporation. As we work towards our vision of future mobility, I’m thrilled to be part of this next chapter in the company’s proud 90-year history.”

Ms Fadeyev has a bachelor of commerce (management) and marketing from the University of Melbourne.
