AUSTRALIAN transport and logistics company Centurion has appointed Damain Bishop to its executive leadership team.

He recently joined Centurion as the executive general manager of business development.

Mr Bishop brings more than 30 years of global experience in senior executive roles across transportation, logistics, and aviation industries.

His expertise spans operations, business development, marketing, sales, and strategic client partnerships.

Previously he had various positions at SEDA College and was with Toll Group for 19 years, most recently as group director of sales and marketing, and president of Linfox’s healthcare division.

Centurion said Mr Bishop’s new role “will be dedicated to building and nurturing strong relationships with key clients and collaborating with operational teams to ensure high-quality, safe, and reliable outcomes for customers.”

It said that Mr Bishop will also focus on building new customer relationships and driving expansion through strategic growth into new markets, sectors, and industry groups.
