QUEENSLAND-based national automotive and machinery classified website group Only Sales Ltd has made a significant boost to its reach after buying a similar organisation dealing in recreational vehicles and boats.

Only Sales CEO Michael Rojek told GoAutoNews Premium that adding TradeRVs.com.au and TradeABoat.com.au to its existing six-title classified business expands its reach by an additional 1.5 million viewers, substantially boosts its dealer network and solidifies Only Sales as a leader in the online classifieds market.

“The addition of the two sites to our existing platforms enhances our offerings in the caravan and marine sectors, providing users with a comprehensive marketplace for buying and selling vehicles and boats,” Mr Rojek said.

“OnlyVans.com.au has seen significant growth over the past 12 months and the acquisition of TradeRVs will further cement OnlyVans.com.au as the leaders in the caravan classified market.”

Only Sales also runs successful specialised classified websites that include OnlyCars.com.au, OnlyEarthmoving, OnlyAg and OnlyTrailers. It has additional sites and plans expansion into other specific target areas.

The sale of both titles was made by Adventure Group Holdings. Its CEO, Rob Gallagher, said that the opportunity to acquire a share of the Only Sales platform as part of the sale “was an attractive opportunity.”

“We have always seen the value in a classifieds marketplace and look forward to working with Only Sales to unlock commercial value in the platform into the future.”

Mr Rojek said the purchase “marks another milestone in our journey to become a leader in the online classified space.”

Mr Rojek emphasised that the integration of TradeRVs with OnlyVans.com.au would happen swiftly, while the boating site integration would be a longer-term endeavour. 

OnlyCars.com.au, launched in January 2021, has rapidly become one of Australia’s fastest-growing online marketplaces, recording over $1.3 billion worth of cars listed as sold in its first nine months. 

Adventure Group Holdings, specialising in outdoor and adventure travel content delivery, previously operated industry-leading brands including Caravan World, Trade-A-Boat, Trade RVs, and Camper Australia before the recent sale.
