PENSKE Commercial Vehicles has continued its national network changes, this month appointing its associate company Penske Power Systems as its Sydney dealer.

Penske Power Systems (PPS) in Sydney’s Chipping Norton will from June 1 become the exclusive retail sales, service and parts dealer for Western Star Trucks, MAN Truck and Bus, and Dennis Eagle.

PPS takes on the role from the Sydney Truck Centre.

Penske Commercial Vehicles managing director Kevin Dennis said: “This is the fifth Penske Power Systems location to be appointed as a sales dealership”.

“Our ‘customers first’ philosophy drives our strategy and we are confident that the Chipping Norton branch will deliver outstanding customer service.”

The dealership has recently been refurbished and has plans to add eight more service bays by the end of the year.

Penske Commercial Vehicles (PCV) last month appointed Marshall Group as its new dealership in Mildura, giving it a presence in north-west Victorian for parts, service and warranty functions to Western Star Trucks, MAN Truck and Bus, and Dennis Eagle customers.

It also recently moved its Perth operations back in house, appointing PPS its representative for sales, service and parts dealership for the three truck brands that was previously carried out by AV Truck Services.

The Hazelmere facility near Perth has a 6720 square metre workshop with full chassis dyno capability and 26 truck bays.

It is also the distribution centre for parts across Western Australia, with a 2500 square metre warehouse and more than 7000 lines of inventory.

In addition to Sydney and Perth, PPS has recently taken over PCV’s retail operations in Mackay, Townsville, Darwin and Cairns.
