It follows the resignation of David Peel, who was Peugeot UK’s managing director for almost five years and was previously CEO of PSA Groupe UK for eight years and before that, CEO of PSA’s UK retail operation for Peugeot, Citroen, DS and Vauxhall, Robin & Day.

Ms David has more than 25 years of experience in the automotive industry with brands Ford, Audi, Volkswagen, Skoda and JLR.

She has also operated her own change management and executive coaching company working with global automotive brands and in private and public sector industries.

Ms David’s roles in JLR included global experiential marketing director and global franchise operations and retail strategy director.

In announcing her appointment, Peugeot UK said that “throughout her career, Julie also has strong operational experience of fleet and retail sales operations and customer service.”

“Julie brings to both Peugeot and Groupe PSA a strong global understanding of retailing, automotive sales and marketing and network infrastructures and relationships,” the Peugeot statement said.
