PORSCHE AG has appointed its Australian head of public relations and member of the executive committee, Chris Jordan, as its new head of public relations for Porsche Middle East and Africa, effective September 1.

He will be succeeded by Alexis Truscott, who has been confirmed as new head of public relations for Porsche Cars Australia.

Mr Jordan joined PCA in October 2017 after returning to Australia from Hong Kong, where he was global product and brand communications manager for Infiniti. He was previously corporate communications manager for Nissan Australia.

PCA said that since his appointment with the company, Mr Jordan had been “instrumental in shaping and positioning our brand and reputation in the Australian media market, as well as building our social media presence”.

“Now after almost five years with PCA, Chris will take the next step in his career as the head of public relations for Porsche Middle East and Africa (PME), commencing September 1, 2022.

“PCA thanks Chris for his contributions to our business and wishes him every success in his new role with PME.”

The company said it was pleased to announce that Alexis Truscott has been appointed as Mr Jordan’s successor and welcomed PCA’s new head of public relations as its newest member of the executive committee.

Ms Truscott started with PCA in 2011 as marketing communications coordinator and has subsequently held various marketing roles, including her current position as marketing manager of brand and retail.

PCA said that Ms Truscott will transition across to PR from August 1 in order to have a handover with Chris prior to his move to Dubai.
