Replacing Mr Clinch as general manager is Darren Gore who has extensive fleet management and leasing experience with a career that started in 1992.
He joined Summit in 2011 and previously held the role of strategic sales and business excellence.
Mr Clinch said: “I am looking forward to focusing on the synergies that the Sumitomo Group has in the energy and mobility sectors, the opportunity of converging these into genuine value propositions for the changing needs of an electrified automotive future is very exciting.”
“I am very proud of the way we have evolved the Summit Fleet business and look forward to supporting Darren and the team through the next phase of development.”
Mr Gore said: “We have a very stable and nimble capability which we have used to great effect in designing customer-centric fleet solutions, the client feedback is fantastic, we are well positioned to continue and improve on our high-quality service delivery.”
“David’s leadership in bringing together a strong business team who have helped evolve Summit Fleet is a great legacy to inherit and I am looking forward to his continued guidance and expertise as we all play a part in the future of mobility.”
