PACCAR Australia has extended its partnership with Supercars with the presentation of two new prime movers this week on the Gold Coast.

Kenworth now continues as the official heavy-duty truck partner of Supercars until at least the end of 2025, making it the 26th consecutive year as a partner.

The truck brand provides transport support to every Australian Supercars event which totals more than 35,000km each season.

Under the partnership, Supercars took delivery of a Kenworth T610 and K220, which both feature a full suite of safety options including adaptive cruise control; stationary vehicle braking; collision mitigation; lane-departure warning; highway-departure warning and braking; and autonomous emergency braking.

The T610 prime mover is also equipped with the Euro-6 engine that has next-generation emission standards that have been optimised to maximise fuel efficiency.

Kenworth has also retained the exclusive rights to the official Kenworth Drivers Parade at the iconic Repco Bathurst 1000.

Since its inception in 2006, this parade has become one of the most anticipated traditions of the four-day event.

Supercars CEO Shane Howard said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Kenworth as the official heavy-duty truck of Supercars.

“Their unwavering support and dedication have been instrumental in the success of our events for over 20 years.

“The partnership between the two organisations is in its third decade and continues to grow, creating excitement for everyone who’s involved.”

Race fans will first see Supercars’ new Kenworth prime movers at the Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight on July 28-30 at Sydney Motorsport Park.

The event hosts Races 18 and 19 of the 2023 Repco Supercars Championship season, with live coverage available on Foxtel and streaming via Kayo.
