LEICHHARDT Volkswagen in New South Wales, led by dealer principal Jenna Yorkston and Autosports Group CEO Nick Pagent, took the German brand’s triple gong of National Dealer of the Year, Metro Dealer of the Year, and is one of 10 recipients of Premium Dealer of the Year.

Volkswagen’s annual Dealer of the Year awards celebrate outstanding dealer success in rural, provincial and metro regions of Australia, across its passenger and commercial vehicle divisions.

Leichhardt Volkswagen (NSW) – National Dealer of the Year, Metro Dealer of the Year, and is one of 10 recipients of Premium Dealer of the Year.

Flying the flag for regional dealerships in Australia, Jackson Volkswagen in Tasmania won Rural Dealer of the Year, while Ballarat Volkswagen in Victoria scooped up its second award of the night for Provincial Dealer of the Year.

As well as Leichhardt in NSW, other recipients of a Premium Dealer of the Year Award spanned the breadth of Australia to include Ballarat Volkswagen, Berwick Volkswagen (VIC), Denlo Volkswagen (NSW), Southern Volkswagen (SA), Jackson Volkswagen, Mawson Lakes Volkswagen (SA), Sutherland Volkswagen (NSW), Griffith City Volkswagen (NSW) and Essendon Volkswagen (VIC).

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles director Nathan Johnson paid homage to the winners, saying the awards are important in honouring the unwavering commitment by dealerships to customers and to Volkswagen.

“My sincerest congratulations to Jenna Yorkston and the team she has led at Leichhardt Volkswagen,” he said.

“Over her more than 10 years with Autosports Group, Ms Yorkston has risen through the ranks from car care manager, to new car and general sales manager roles, to now being dealer principal of Volkswagen’s 2024 Dealer of the Year.

Volkswagen Passenger Vehicles director Piergiorgio Minto expressed his recognition of and gratitude to recipients of the DOTY awards, as well as the wider Volkswagen dealer network.
