HONDA Australia is launching a new brand campaign that showcases the entire product range in a television commercial (TVC) that will then spin off to promote individual products.

Called “Moving You”, the TVC is the concept of Honda’s lead agency Leo Burnett and is expected to start next month.

Honda Australia director Stephen Collins said it is an Australian idea and will only be used for this market.

“It has similarity to the ‘Impossible Dream’ TVC that we ran some years ago,” he told GoAutoNews Premium.

“It is all about the Honda products, from motorcycles and cars to power equipment and jets, and includes Honda’s personal mobility products such as the walk assist unit that helps give mobility to stroke victims.”

Honda’s Impossible Dream TVC, showing an actor operating all of Honda’s vehicles through the ages, is produced to the background of the same-name song sung by Andy Williams.

The car-maker also found a lot of viewer favour with its “Cog” advertisement that showed parts of the Accord Euro arranged to produce a moving “mousetrap”.
