AUTOCARE Services, part of the LINX Cargo Care Group, has renewed its partnership with Supercars to transport the Vodafone safety, medical, recovery and course cars across Australia for the various rounds of the 2019 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.

The group first signed on as a partner in 2018 and will continue as the official safety and course car logistics partner as part of this year’s deal.

LINX Cargo Care Group CEO Anthony Jones said his organisation was proud to continue its partnership with Supercars following a successful year in 2018.

“The synergy with Autocare and its delivery of processed vehicles to thousands of customers every day across Australia aligns well,” he said.

“Our ongoing partnership with Supercars has helped us reach more people across Australia and we’re pleased to continue supporting one of the world’s most exciting motorsport categories by delivering the safety and course cars to each event.

“While at a glance Supercars and a logistics and supply chain organisation may not appear connected, we both have safety and high performance at our core.

“LINX Cargo Care Group is committed to sending our people home safely every day and Supercars shares its similar safety vision for drivers, crew and race enthusiasts,” Mr Jones said.

Supercars general manager (commercial) Jamie Black said that, as one of Australia’s leading vehicle logistics providers, Autocare Services was well placed to deliver the safety, medical and course cars to each of its events across the country.

“Having them back on board in 2019 is great news as it ensures the safe delivery of some of our most critical vehicles,” Mr Black said.

LINX Cargo Care Group and its five market-leading operations – Autocare, LINX, C3, Pedersen Group and GeelongPort – employ approximately 4000 people across Australia and New Zealand.
