HIGHLY-EXPERIENCED automotive executive Glen Soper has been appointed general manager of Seeding and Tillage business in Australia for global agricultural machinery company CNH Industrial.

Mr Soper was previously general manager of machinery company Canetech for three yars, and before that, was general manager for NTP Forklifts Australia.

He was also general manager and dealer principal of Performax, based north of Brisbane, which introduced compliance for the sale of Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Denali and Ford Super Duty F250 and F350 vehicles.

While at Performax, he also established a parts and vehicle manufacturing facility in Thailand for the Silverado.

Mr Soper was also regional manager of Renault in Australia, general manager of Pentana Solutions, dealer development manager for Bentley based in Singapore and business development manager for Ford based in Thailand.

CNH Industrial is the former Fiat-owned agricultural, construction and truck division that has become a separate listed company. It operates under brands including Iveco, Case, New Holland, FPT, Steyr Tractor and Heuliez Bus.
