PITCHER Partners Motor Industry Services (MIS) has expanded its team, making two senior appointments with the addition of John Brockhouse and Aidan Cousin.

They bring the firm’s staff dedicated to the motor industry to more than 10 as demand for dealer services continues to grow.

Mr Brockhouse joins with more than 30 years’ experience of working with dealers to maximise their sales performance and profitability.

His strong dealer network development background has also guided and navigated clients through the changing landscape.

He started his automotive career in the aftersales arena running retail workshops before relocating to the UK where he transitioned into the fleet management segment.

Upon his return to Australia, he worked with OEMs in the sales and network development management aspects of the industry.

Mr Cousin will focus on compliance and advisory, creating opportunities for his motor industry clients by providing industry best practice consulting and will be involved in buy-sell transactions.

He has returned to the automotive industry after accounting positions at Foxtel and Laing O’Rourke Australia. Previously he was a part of KPMG’s Motor Industry Services team from 2016 to 2018 and will now reconnect with Steve Bragg and Wayne Pearson who all previously worked together at KPMG.

In announcing the new staff, Pitcher Partners said that the Australian auto retail landscape “is more than just dealerships”.

“It is a unique mix of corporate and family interests, property and is a product of generations of passion, grit and hard work.

“It makes sense that the firm has invested in the MIS division given Pitcher Partners has a strong focus on private clients and a holistic approach to service delivery.

“Making business personal is not just a tagline, it is what the team at Pitcher Partners do day in and day out.”
