High office: Naomi Rebeschini is now responsible for all public relations activities for Honda Australia’s motor vehicles division, having served for six years as assistant PR manager.

HONDA Australia has promoted Naomi Rebeschini to public relations manager after serving for the past six years as assistant PR manager.

Ms Rebeschini now formally fills the vacancy created when Neil McDonald left the company in June, returning to Ford Australia.

Honda Australia is also now recruiting for a new deputy PR manager.

Ms Rebeschini has more than 15 years’ experience in the public relations industry, starting in corporate affairs at GM Holden in a 12-month student placement in 2003 and later working for BMW Group Australia as a corporate communications intern.

During her career, Ms Rebeschini has also worked as an account manager for PR agency AMPR (with BMW among the firm’s clients), and as communications and events manager for online real estate investment company PropertyInvesting.com.

Prior to joining Honda in 2012, Ms Rebeschini had spent four years running her own PR and event management firm Red Letter Management.

“There are so many layers to Honda; the diversity of the product range is just one of the reasons I love working for the company, along with the audacious belief in the power of dreaming and challenging what is possible,” she said.
