RED Agency, which was appointed in March as Toyota Australia’s public relations and marketing agency for lifestyle and social media, has taken on the additional work left open after the termination by Toyota of The Project Group from its 30-year product PR role.

Red Agency group COO, James Wright, told GoAutoNews Premium this week that it was “assisting Toyota for a transition period” after the removal of The Project Group.

Asked if this would become a full-time contract, Mr Wright said “that’s up to Toyota”.

“We are supporting them during the transition. We will see what happens (after that).”

Red Agency will work with Toyota both out of its Sydney and Melbourne offices.

The company is part of Havas Group, one of the world’s largest communications companies. In Australia, Red Agency’s corporate clients include carsales.com, Foodbank, United Nations Foundation, Jack Daniel’s, Cadbury and the NSW Government.
