FOR one whole day, a handful of lucky taxi customers were chosen at random to ride in one of seven iconic Renault vehicles to celebrate the car-maker’s 120th anniversary.

The Renaults that drove customers to their destination included the historic Taxi de la Marne, the autonomous car Symbioz, the 4CV, the original Project 900, the Renault 12, and first-generation versions of the Espace and Twizy.

For the anniversary, Renault joined forces with taxi company Marcel Cab to give its customers an unexpected chance to discover – or rediscover – the Renault models that have marked the history of the brand since 1898. This unique project, which gives a glimpse into Renault’s storied history, was recorded on film using hidden cameras.
